Dr. Leah Vuksich, DVM
Dr. Leah Vuksich (“Dr. Leah”) grew up in northern California working alongside her father, who is also a companion animal veterinarian. It only took her 6 years of life to decide that she would follow in his footsteps and pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Leah received her B.A. in Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice at San Francisco State University, and went to veterinary school at UC Davis.
Dr. Leah has special interest in preventative medicine, ophthalmology, and
imaging (ultrasound and radiography). She feels extremely fortunate to be in a position that allows her to support and nurture the unique bond between human and animal, and finds joy in taking time to get familiar with each special relationship she encounters. She strives to make every vet experience most pleasant for both owners and patients, promoting her philosophy that regular visits, to create and implement personalized preventative medical plans, will significantly impact the quality and duration of our pet’s lives.
Dr. Leah lives, works and plays in beautiful Marin County. When not at work, she and her husband like to spend time running, hiking, enjoying music, and playing on the beach – none of which would be complete without the company of their two Boston Terriers, Flick and Sullee.
