Dr. Doug Evans, DVM

Dr. Doug Evans was born and raised in Colorado. From an early age he knew he wanted to be a veterinarian. He received his undergraduate degrees and veterinary degree from Colorado State University. He has been fortunate to work with a varied group of practices in Colorado, Nevada and Oregon. This has included small clinics such as a feline only hospital in Denver as well as large diverse practices in Las Vegas. Dr. Evans has always had a special interest in feline medicine and surgery.

In 2010 Dr. Evans was honored to receive Oregon’s Veterinary Humanitarian of the Year award for his (and his wife Meghan’s) work helping struggling horse owners feed their horses.

After Meghan and Doug had their two amazing daughters; Hope and Quinn, the Evans family decided to move back to Meg’s home town of Novato to be near family. The family is rounded out by two feisty kitties, KitKat and Butters.

Dr. Evans joined ESRVC in September 2012. Raising a family and practicing at a great clinic has made Marin feel like home.
